Academy and Certification Terms
These Terms govern the Academy, its courses, examinations and certificates on With Ease Africa, operated by Aureva International Ltd. They form part of the Terms of Service.
What a certificate is, and what it is not
A certificate records that you completed a course and passed its assessment on this platform, on a stated date.
It is not a professional qualification. It is not a licence to practise. It is not accredited by, endorsed by or recognised by any government, regulator, university, examining body or professional body, including the professional body that regulates you, unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific course. It confers no right to any title, designation or practice.
We do not warrant that any certificate will be recognised or accepted by anyone.
Examinations and integrity
Examinations are graded on our servers and correct answers are never disclosed. Attempt limits, cooling-off periods and time limits are enforced on our clock. We may void an attempt, withhold or revoke a certificate, and suspend access where we reasonably believe an examination was taken dishonestly, including impersonation, sharing questions, or use of unauthorised assistance.
Verification and revocation
A certificate carries a reference which may be checked on a public verification page showing only its title, its date and whether it remains valid. A revoked certificate fails verification immediately. Revocation is recorded.
Course content
Course material is for education only. It is not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and must not be relied on in place of a qualified professional in your country. Requirements described may change, and may differ in your country.
Fees and access
Paid courses are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Access to a course lasts for the period stated when you enrol. We may change, update or withdraw a course, and will not usually remove access to a course you have paid for during its stated period.
Intellectual property
Course material is ours or our licensors'. You may use it for your own learning only. You may not copy, record, republish, share, resell or use it to build a competing offering.
Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for our own fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected to the minimum extent the law requires.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, nor for lost profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, data or reputation, and our total aggregate liability is limited to the lesser of the fees you paid us in the three months before the event and fifty United States dollars (USD 50).
Time limit
A claim must be notified to us in writing within six months of the date you became, or ought reasonably to have become, aware of it. A claim not notified in that period is irrevocably barred.
Indemnity
You will indemnify us in full and on demand, including our legal costs on a full indemnity basis, against everything arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the platform, or your breach of any law or third party right. This indemnity is not limited by the liability cap above.
Disputes
No class, collective or representative action. Send us written notice of any dispute and allow thirty days; that notice is a condition precedent to any claim. Unresolved disputes are finally settled by arbitration seated in Lagos, Nigeria, before a single arbitrator, in English.
Governing law, reform and language
Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where we are incorporated. An unenforceable provision is read down to the maximum extent enforceable rather than struck out, and severed only if it cannot be read down at all. English is the sole operative version; translations are for convenience only and create no rights.
