AI Use and Disclosure Notice
This Notice forms part of the Terms of Service of With Ease Africa, operated by Aureva International Ltd. It explains how artificial intelligence is used here, and — more importantly — what it will not do.
Where AI is used
The AI Business Officer answers questions about the information your organisation already holds on this platform. The Companion summarises your own records and highlights what may need attention. The support assistant answers questions about the platform.
What the AI is allowed to see
Only your own organisation's records. Your data is never mixed with another organisation's, and no other organisation's data is ever placed in an answer given to you.
Your records are sent to our AI provider only for the purpose of answering your request. Your data is not used to train any model. We do not send identity documents, passwords, payment credentials or security information to any AI provider.
What the AI will not do
It does not give tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice or financial advice. It describes what your records show and what a published requirement asks for. It does not tell you what you should do where that judgement is a regulated one.
Advisory mode is currently switched off pending determination by a legal adviser. While it is off, the AI will decline to advise rather than attempt it. This setting is shared across every AI feature, so there is one boundary and not several.
It does not decide anything about you. No automated decision is made about your account, your funding, your Trust Score or your money on the basis of an AI answer alone.
It does not spend money, publish anything, or act on your behalf. It answers.
What it may get wrong
AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Answers are a starting point, not a professional opinion, and must not be relied on in place of a qualified professional in your country. Where an answer concerns a legal, tax or regulatory requirement, verify it with the tax authority of your country, the companies registry of your country, or an appropriately qualified adviser.
Where we hold no verified information for your country, the AI will say so rather than answer from another country's rules.
Your choices
You are not required to use any AI feature. Ask us at legal@witheaseafrica.com about how AI has been applied to your data.
Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for our own fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected to the minimum extent the law requires.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, nor for lost profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, data or reputation, and our total aggregate liability is limited to the lesser of the fees you paid us in the three months before the event and fifty United States dollars (USD 50).
Time limit
A claim must be notified to us in writing within six months of the date you became, or ought reasonably to have become, aware of it. A claim not notified in that period is irrevocably barred.
Indemnity
You will indemnify us in full and on demand, including our legal costs on a full indemnity basis, against everything arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the platform, or your breach of any law or third party right. This indemnity is not limited by the liability cap above.
Disputes
No class, collective or representative action. Send us written notice of any dispute and allow thirty days; that notice is a condition precedent to any claim. Unresolved disputes are finally settled by arbitration seated in Lagos, Nigeria, before a single arbitrator, in English.
Governing law, reform and language
Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where we are incorporated. An unenforceable provision is read down to the maximum extent enforceable rather than struck out, and severed only if it cannot be read down at all. English is the sole operative version; translations are for convenience only and create no rights.
