Commercial Outreach and Prospect Data Notice
This notice is published by With Ease Africa, operated by Aureva International Ltd. It explains how we find organisations that may want our service, what we keep about them, how we may contact them, and how to make us stop. It applies to organisations and people who are not our customers.
Who this notice is for
Organisations — businesses, churches, NGOs, associations, cooperatives, schools, training organisations and professional bodies — whose contact details are published on their own public websites, and the people who read the addresses those organisations publish.
What we collect, and where it comes from
We read public web pages that an organisation publishes about itself. From those pages we keep only:
- the organisation's name, website, type and, where the page states it, its country;
- a short summary of what the page says the organisation does, and the passages we relied on;
- business contact routes the organisation itself publishes — a general or role email address, a business telephone number, and links to its official pages on social networks;
- where each item came from — the address of the page and the date we read it.
We do not buy contact lists, use leaked or stolen data, read anything behind a login, or collect a private home address or a private telephone number. We never invent a contact detail: if an address is not printed on a page we read, we do not have it.
Why we hold it
To make one relevant first approach to an organisation whose own published information suggests our service may help it, and to keep an accurate record of what we sent — including whether we must never write again.
How we may contact you
- A first approach is made only by email, to an address your organisation publishes, or through LinkedIn. We will not make a first approach by SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or telephone. Those channels are used only if you have replied to us or asked us to use them.
- Nothing is sent unless a person at With Ease Africa has approved it. We limit how often we write to the same address.
- Every email we send says who we are, where we found your address, and how to stop us, with a link that needs no account: open it and press one button.
- We make no claim in a message that we cannot support. We do not quote prices, results, rankings or other customers in a first approach.
How to make us stop
Use the link at the foot of any email we send, or reply asking us to stop. Once we have your request:
- we will not contact that address again, on any channel;
- the address is kept on a do-not-contact list, with the date you asked, only so that we never contact it again. That list is not used for anything else.
You may also ask us to delete what we hold about your organisation. We will do so, keeping only the do-not-contact entry.
How long we keep it
We keep information about an organisation only for as long as we need it for the purpose described above. A fixed retention period for prospect information is being set with our legal advisers; until it is published here, you may ask us at any time to delete what we hold.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to being contacted. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country. To exercise any of these rights, reply to any email we sent you, or use the contact details in our Privacy Policy.
What this notice does not change
This notice does not change the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy that apply to our customers. The English version of this notice is the operative version; translations are provided for convenience.
